Cinnamon Roll Waffles on Mother's Day!

What a great day.  Woke up with yummy pancakes and cinnamon roll waffles.  Yes, I said waffles.  They were so good and they are very easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands refrigerated cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing

Preparation:

Preheat your waffle maker and coat with cooking spray. Remove dough from can.
Place one roll in the center of your waffle maker.  Close and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Heat up the icing and pour over waffles.  Or you could make more by using the icing it came with and 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, 3 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Honestly, they are just as good with the icing heated.

Enjoy!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!  I am truly blessed!!!

Cake Pops and Soccer Balls

This weekend is going to be a relaxing one.  I hope.  First is a soccer game.  My daughter loves soccer.  I love her smile while playing.  I love hearing everyone cheer her on.  I love our coach.  I guess I love soccer too.  Our game today isn't until 11 and my daughter was excited to sleep in.  Oh, these pre-teens.  Like mother, like daughter.

After the game, I would like to make more cake pops.  I can't promise I will get to them but I will try.  I made some a few days again and they were okay.  The cake was a new flavor by Pillsbury called Orange Creamsicle.  It was good but I know I can do better.  Today I am going to make plain vanilla with chocolate coating.  Simple but yummy!!!!  Here is a pic of the orange creamsicle ones.

Have a great Saturday!  Get out and enjoy yourself!

Cub Scout Scrapbooking

Well, my son is longer a cub scout.  He is a BOY scout and I haven't finished his album yet.  He is on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout.  I am so proud of him.  As I am putting this album together, I am reminded of all the wonderful things he did as a scout.  All the great adventures he went on.  All the cool field trips or go see its as they call them.  All the fantastic friends he met.  But most of all, the experiences that only a scout will endure.  Here's to a lifetime of memories.  Go Troop 1345.  You have one terrific scout.  My Son!!!
